  3. FDFORMAT.DOC         - Documentation of FDFORMAT.
  4. FDREAD.EXE           - TSR to read/write diskette with higher capacity.
  5. FDFORMAT.EXE         - The main program.
  6. README.1ST           - This file.
  7. README.DMF           - Information about how to use these utilities.
  8. MSOFT17A.BAT         - Batch file to format 1.7 Mb floppies in A drive.
  9. MSOFT17B.BAT         - Batch file to format 1.7 Mb floppies in B drive.

  11. To run FDFORMAT, only FDFORMAT.EXE and FDREAD.EXE are required.

  13. *** THIS PROGRAM WILL ONLY WORK ON 3.5" HD DISKS AND COMPATABLE DRIVES ***

  15. Run MSOFT17A.BAT to format a 1.44 Mb floppy to 1.7 Mb DMF size in your
  16. A: drive.

  18. Run MSOFT17B.BAT for your B: drive.
  19.  
  20. This will create the required size floppy for the larger, 1.7 Mb, 
  21. distribution files from Microsoft.
